JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer- (Node.js / React / Azure)

DURATION: Long term

Location: Remote (Need base travel to Boston, MA)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Azure.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services using Express.js.
• Develop responsive and intuitive front-end applications using React, Vite, Redux, and Material UI (MUI).
• Create interactive dashboards and data visualizations utilizing D3.js and Nivo charts, preferably within healthcare or clinical data environments.
• Design and manage relational databases using PostgreSQL and Sequelize ORM.
• Implement event-driven architectures & system integrations using Azure Service Bus and Azure Event Hubs.
• Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise platforms such as Okta and Salesforce.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, UX Designers, and QA teams.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability through best engineering practices.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve coding productivity, code quality, testing, & documentation.

Required Technical Skills

• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js, PostgreSQL, Sequelize ORM, Azure Cloud Services
• Frontend: React.js, TypeScript, Vite, Redux, Material UI (MUI), D3.js, Nivo Visualization Library
• Integrations: Okta, Salesforce, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hubs
• Cloud & DevOps: Microsoft Azure, CI/CD Pipelines, Git/GitHub or Azure DevOps, Microservices Architecture

Nice to Have

• Python Development
• Databricks
• Data Engineering or Analytics Experience
• Healthcare / Clinical Data Domain Knowledge
• Experience building AI-enabled applications

AI Expectations

• Comfortable using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar platforms.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for code generation, debugging, documentation, testing, and developer productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience building enterprise-scale web applications.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
