Senior e-invoicing sales executive

What You'll Do

Avalara are expanding a high-performing team of e-invoicing sales experts to meet the accelerating global demand for real-time tax compliance. As a Senior E-Invoicing Sales Executive, you'll help build Avalara's growth by helping multinational businesses navigate the evolving landscape of e-invoicing and live reporting mandates.

Applying your SaaS sales expertise and advanced e-invoicing knowledge, you'll identify, cultivate, and close strategic opportunities globally with potential clients while building and maintaining partner relationships.

Join us as we scale a team as we continue to change the e-invoicing market, providing businesses with the tools they need to stay compliant. You will report to the Sales Director, E-invoicing based in EMEA and work remote.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

• Stay current with industry trends and regulations related to e-invoicing and transaction taxes, providing subject matter expertise to both prospects and colleagues.
• Identify and target potential customers within the e-invoicing market, understanding their pain points, and presenting Avalara's solutions as the choice for tax compliance.
• Develop a sales strategy tailored to the e-invoicing sector, using Avalara's unique strengths and differentiators.
• Understand the complex needs of clients and tailor Avalara's software solutions to meet their specific requirements.
• Establish and maintain long-lasting customer relationships, being a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
• Exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas, driving revenue growth for Avalara.
• Collaborate with our teams, including Sales Engineers, Product Specialists, and Customer Account Managers to win business globally.

What You'll Need to be Successful

• 7+ years of successful software sales experience, with experience meeting sales quotas.
• You will have a background in e-invoicing software sales.
• You will have a background in SaaS sales.
• You will have knowledge of the e-invoicing market including the already introduced and upcoming mandates.
• Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.

Pay Range Details

The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

• Colorado $95,940 - $131,000 annually
• Washington $95,940 - $145,000 annually
• California $95,940 - $159,000 annually
• NYC $106,000 - $159,000 annually

The pay range above is the general base pay range for you in the state listed. Your actual salary/wage may be based on multiple factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, and market and business considerations.

This role is eligible for the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or use, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and your role.
