Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Operations Specialist based in the United States.

This is a fast-paced sales operations role supporting a technology services organization serving a broad range of clients.

You will help keep the sales engine running smoothly by managing quotes, data, opportunities, renewals, and administrative workflows.

The role combines commercial coordination, data management, problem-solving, and close collaboration with sales, clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

You will work with manufacturers and suppliers to secure pricing, prepare accurate quotes, and support warranty and software renewal activities.

Strong attention to detail and follow-through will be essential as you manage multiple priorities and help sales teams stay on track toward their goals.

The position is fully remote, with a strong preference for candidates working in Pacific or Mountain time zones and some after-hours updates required.

This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership of sales operations while working in a varied, collaborative, and technology-focused environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to register special pricing arrangements, obtain product quotes, and secure warranty and software support renewals.
  • Translate supplier and manufacturer information into clear, accurate, and actionable customer quotes that sales teams can confidently use.
  • Partner with internal teams during quote preparation to address customer questions, resolve concerns, and ensure requirements are accurately reflected.
  • Provide comprehensive sales and administrative support across the sales lifecycle, including communication with prospects, clients, sales representatives, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update sales opportunities, activities, and relevant information within ConnectWise to ensure accurate pipeline visibility.
  • Manage sales-related data entry and maintain high standards of data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
  • Help monitor sales activity and progress toward month-end objectives, identifying outstanding actions or information that could affect team performance.
  • Support the effective use of sales tools, applications, platforms, and operational systems, helping ensure teams understand and use them appropriately.
  • Assist with training and enablement for sales teams on relevant tools, workflows, and operational processes.
  • Track warranty, software support, pricing, quote, and other sales-related information to ensure deadlines and commitments are maintained.
  • Use advanced Excel, data-management software, and business intelligence tools to organize, analyze, and communicate sales information.
  • Collaborate proactively across teams to keep sales workflows moving efficiently and ensure clients receive timely and accurate support.
  • Identify recurring operational challenges and contribute ideas that improve sales processes, data quality, tool adoption, and overall efficiency.
  • Work independently while maintaining strong communication and accountability within a distributed remote environment.
  • Support occasional after-hours updates and business needs as required.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience supporting sales, sales operations, account coordination, or administrative activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, particularly when managing quotes, data, deadlines, renewals, and multiple concurrent requests.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, prospects, suppliers, manufacturers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to resolving operational and customer-related issues.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and reliable follow-through.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience working with data-management software and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience maintaining sales opportunities and customer information in a CRM or sales platform; familiarity with ConnectWise is particularly valuable.
  • Ability to understand pricing, product, renewal, warranty, and support information and convert it into clear commercial documentation.
  • Comfortable learning and supporting the use of multiple business applications, sales tools, and technology platforms.
  • Experience assisting with training or enabling sales teams on systems, tools, or operational processes is an advantage.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective working relationships across sales, operations, suppliers, clients, and other teams.
  • Self-starter who can work effectively in a fully remote environment and remain accountable without constant supervision.
  • Experience in managed IT services, technology services, SaaS, or another technology-focused environment is beneficial.
  • Willingness to work Monday through Friday, generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific or Mountain Time, with some after-hours updates when required.

Benefits

  • Annual salary with compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, geographic location, availability of qualified candidates, and other relevant factors.
  • The majority of employees in the role are expected to fall within the low-to-mid portion of the applicable salary scale, with the upper end reserved for exceptional or unusually qualified candidates.
  • Fully remote, work-from-home position within the United States.
  • Strong preference for candidates located in the Pacific or Mountain time zones.
  • Four weeks of accrued annual PTO.
  • Seven paid national holidays.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Company-paid life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage.
  • Voluntary benefits including critical illness and accident coverage.
  • Voluntary legal assistance and identity theft protection.
  • Discretionary annual 401(k) matching plan.
  • Employee referral bonus program.
  • Employee Assistance Program.
  • Access to more than 90,000 professional development courses through an online learning platform.
  • Employee engagement and development tools.
  • Eligibility to apply for a Pluralsight license.
  • Eligibility to apply for technical or leadership academy programs.
  • Minimal travel associated with the position.
  • Opportunity to develop expertise across sales operations, managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, and data-related solutions.
  • Collaborative environment with opportunities to work across sales, operations, technology, suppliers, and clients.
  • Additional benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and applicable plan terms.
