About This Role

We're seeking a Regional Director of Operations to lead and optimize operations across our veterinary clinic locations in Arizona and Texas. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll oversee significant P&L responsibility while driving operational excellence and business growth across our multi-site network.

This remote position requires 70% travel throughout Arizona and Texas to ensure hands-on leadership and support at each location. You'll be responsible for implementing best practices, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring exceptional patient care and client service standards across all clinics.

As Regional Director of Operations, you'll be the driving force behind operational excellence within your region. Your leadership will directly impact:

  • Financial Performance - Optimize operations across a substantial portfolio while identifying growth opportunities and improving profitability
  • Team Excellence - Develop and elevate hospital managers and their teams, creating a pipeline of talent and fostering high engagement across 12 locations
  • Operational Efficiency - Streamline workflows, implement best practices, and leverage data to drive continuous improvement in patient care and client satisfaction
  • Strategic Growth - Collaborate with executive leadership to identify expansion opportunities and execute regional initiatives
  • Quality & Compliance - Ensure all locations maintain the highest standards of veterinary care while meeting regulatory requirements

  • Proven change management expertise in fast-paced environments

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred
Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-site operations, veterinary or healthcare preferred
Licensed DVM in good standing, preferred
Track record of managing P&L responsibility and achieving financial targets
Experience leading teams of 50+ employees across multiple locations
Phoenix, AZ residency preferred (relocation assistance available for the right candidate)
