About the Opportunity

Join a fast-paced team as a Quality Engineer focused on SAP Commerce Cloud. You will lead hands-on manual testing and contribute to functional UI automation using Playwright with Java. The role includes validating core commerce workflows, supporting WalkMe digital adoption testing, and collaborating across product, development, and operations teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end testing for SAP Commerce Cloud: catalog/search, cart/checkout, pricing/promotions, orders, and customer accounts.
• Design and maintain test strategies, plans, scenarios, and cases mapped to business and functional requirements.
• Lead manual functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing cycles.
• Develop and execute functional UI automation with Playwright (Java).
• Validate integrations between SAP Commerce Cloud and related enterprise systems.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defect fixes to closure.
• Support smoke/sanity/regression/release validation; assist with test data and environment readiness.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies; provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, and release readiness.
• Coordinate or assist with basic performance validation efforts.

Required Qualifications

• US Citizen only; no dual citizenship.
• 5–7 years of QA/Quality Engineering experience in enterprise web applications.
• Hands-on SAP Commerce Cloud testing across core commerce workflows.
• Strong manual QA: test planning/design, execution, regression, end-to-end validation, and defect management.
• Functional UI automation experience using Playwright with Java.
• Agile/Scrum experience; solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and defect lifecycle.
• Ability to translate requirements/user stories into clear, traceable test scenarios and cases; strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to HCM workflows/systems.
• Performance testing exposure (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, k6) and API testing (e.g., Postman).
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow; understanding of CI/CD and automated test execution.
• Experience testing integrations across multiple enterprise systems.
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing workflows (e.g., Cline or similar).
