Overview

BerryDunn is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our State Government Practice Group and support engagement services and workstreams for our Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) client. As a Project Coordinator, you will help coordinate project operations, maintain project management artifacts, support meeting logistics and documentation, and assist Guam Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPfMO) Portfolio Deputy Managers and project leads with workstream coordination, resource tracking, and project reporting.

The role requires coordination skills, strong attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication, practical project management knowledge, and a collaborative approach to supporting complex health and human services initiatives. The successful individual in this role will be organized; responsive, adaptable, and comfortable helping teams track decisions, action items, risks, issues, schedules, and deliverables in a dynamic client service environment.

As part of initial client-focused responsibilities, the Project Coordinator will work within a Health and Human Services focused EPfMO team. The initial and primary focus will be supporting project coordination across workstreams, including meeting coordination and documentation, project documentation, calendar management, status reporting support, risk, action item, issue, and decision (RAID) tracking, and follow-up communications. Success in this role requires the ability to organize work across multiple workstreams, communicate clearly with internal and client-facing teams, and help keep project work moving forward.

You will work remotely or in one of BerryDunn’s offices. This position offers flexibility in work location, including fully onsite, hybrid, or remote arrangements. Preferred locations are Kapolei, Hawai‘i, or the western U.S.. The role requires working Guam Standard Time/Chamorro Standard Time (ChST).

Travel Expectations

Travel can be 25 - 50% depending on client and project needs.

You Will

• Organize, plan, schedule, and coordinate project meetings, including one-time and recurring meetings across global time zones.
• Prepare professional meeting agendas, notes, correspondence, and follow-up materials that capture key discussion points, action items, decisions, risks, and issues.
• Assist with the development, review, formatting, and distribution of project status reports, work plans, trackers, and other project deliverables.
• Maintain and track project action items, issues, risks, decisions, dependencies, schedules, and documentation.
• Participate in client and project team meetings, document meeting notes and action items, and support timely follow-up on project needs, open items, and areas requiring input.
• Communicate frequently, clearly, and consistently with clients, BerryDunn team members, vendors, and other interested parties.
• Support engagement coordination activities by helping organize complex workstreams, maintain project artifacts, and keep project information current and accessible.
• Use project management tools, such as Microsoft Project or similar platforms, to support project tracking, coordination, and reporting.
• Use Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and SharePoint, to support project documentation and collaboration.
• Serve as a liaison among the Guam EPfMO Deputy Portfolio Managers, workstream leads, and staff regarding project updates and key areas requiring input or attention.
• Perform assigned tasks efficiently and effectively asking clarifying questions when instructions are unclear and proactively identifying follow-up needs.

You Have

• A bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, health administration, project management, public health, health and human services, or a related field.
• One to three years of experience supporting a state health and human services agency, public health agency, project management office, consulting engagement, or similarly complex program environment.
• Experience supporting project or program management office functions, including meeting coordination, work planning, status reporting, tracker maintenance, risk and issue tracking, action item follow-up, communications management, and deliverable support.
• Demonstrated ability to create clear, accurate, and professional work products, such as meeting notes, status reports, agendas, trackers, presentations, and correspondence.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, and ability to prioritize tasks while managing competing priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrently assigned tasks, often delivered with limited notice in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high standard of quality and meeting deadlines.
• Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with client contacts, BerryDunn team members, project leaders, vendors, and other interested parties.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to ask clarifying questions, document decisions, and communicate follow-up needs clearly and professionally.
• An understanding of project management concepts and Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) 7th Edition principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and standard document repositories such as Microsoft SharePoint.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Planner, or similar platforms.
• Willingness to work flexible hours aligned to Guam Standard Time/Chamorro Standard Time.

Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $75,000 - $95,000. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on factors such as company and personal performance. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
