Principal Consultant

Join us as a Principal Consultant on our AI/Data Practice team in Austin TX (or US Remote) to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE

As a Principal Consultant in our AI/Data Consulting practice, you will help customers achieve their AI outcomes – from pilot to production. Our experts work with customers to define their requirements, design the right architecture for now and for future scale, consider customer-specific operational integrations, and build the Dell AI Factory that meets their goals. The right candidate will have hands-on experience in customer production environments and with current software/tooling for MLOps/workload/GPU management, and network architecture/design experience is a plus.

You will:

  • Be familiar with on-premise AI hardware and software tooling, including but not limited to the Nvidia software suite of tooling. Experience with Dell AI hardware a plus.
  • Be familiar with operational considerations (network design, security policies) that impact design/implementation considerations.
  • Have hands-on experience building AI capabilities for end-customers, on-prem a plus.
  • Have experience in consulting roles, with customer-facing responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • In-depth knowledge of leading GPU technologies and network optimization of GPU environments
  • In-depth knowledge of optimization frameworks for partitioning GPU utilization and performance for machine learning tasks and generative AI models, and dependencies associated with deploying and running models
  • Experience in applying generative AI models to various tasks, such as natural language processing (NLP), computer vision for imaging, image generation, text generation, and data augmentation
  • Expertise in model/ops implementation frameworks and software, such as the NVAIE suite of software or opensource alternatives, particularly at scale and in production environments
  • Production datacenter experience and familiarity with common firewalling frameworks, infosec policies/controls, and other operational requirements a plus.

Desirable Requirements

  • A B.S. degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with the Dell suite of Generative AI Hardware and the Nvidia hardware/software stack, Network design and configuration experience for production GPU environments
