GXG is a fast-growing agency at a high-growth tech company, seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to serve as a leading technical expert for analytics engineering and analytics-ready data architecture supporting GXI Enterprise (GXI-E), our advanced analytics platform.
This role independently solves highly complex and ambiguous data challenges and sets standards and best practices that influence analytics delivery across GXG. The Sr. Analytics Engineer designs, governs, and evolves scalable analytics‑ready data solutions that support advanced analytics platform delivery.
Through deep expertise and independent decision‑making, this role is ideal for someone who thrives at working with complex data integrations and backend processes, enabling scalable reporting, measurement, and insights that support strategic decision‑making and digital experience outcomes for our clients.
You will transform complex, externally sourced data into standardized, reliable models that enable scalable reporting, dashboards, and measurement. By establishing repeatable integration patterns and backend processes, this role improves data readiness, delivery efficiency, and the quality of insights that inform client decision‑making and digital experience outcomes.
Strong candidates are subject-matter experts with a systems‑thinking mindset who are comfortable influencing cross‑functional stakeholders, mentoring through example, and shaping long‑term analytics approaches.
Top candidates have a passion for understanding customer behavior, are experts in interpreting data from email, web, social media platforms, and client systems, are comfortable with storytelling with data, and confident presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates must have a desire to be part of a data-driven, customer-focused, fast-paced team that loves the mission of improving the citizen experience and providing world-class service to government customers.
8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or business intelligence, supporting analytics delivery in complex, cross‑functional environments; experience with web analytics, digital marketing data, or government technology preferred, working with external clients
Proven track record of establishing and governing analytics engineering standards with enterprise‑level impact, influencing organizational data strategy and outcomes

This role is typically performed on a computer using Zoom or Teams. Individual will be on camera throughout the day engaging with other employees. The role is typically performed indoors within a home office environment. This role is typically performed while sitting or standing at a desk. The individual will occasionally lift light objects.
Prior to the shutdown for the Covid-19 pandemic, GXG staff were expected to be available for on-site customer meetings with our federal, state and local customers. This included travel in some instances. As our customers' expectations and responses to the pandemic continue to evolve, GXG team members may once again be expected to be available for in-person customer meetings.
Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.
Due to security requirements, this position is currently open only to those located in the Continental US.
Candidates must be able to operate in the Central time zone to support client needs.
