We are growing and looking for a self-motivated, relationship-driven Sales Executive to help small businesses upgrade their payment processing and point-of-sale solutions. What will you do

• Prospect and develop new business with small and mid-sized businesses through cold outreach, networking, referrals, in-person visits, and relationship-based selling.
• Meet business owners and decision-makers face-to-face and virtually to understand their current payment setup, challenges, and goals.
• Present and sell payment processing and POS solutions, not just rate comparisons.
• Recommend the right solution based on the merchant’s industry, workflow, volume, and operational needs.
• Manage the sales process from beginning to close, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, following up, and winning the business.
• Build strong client relationships that lead to renewals, referrals, and long-term residual income.
• Work closely with internal support and onboarding resources to ensure a smooth client transition.
• Maintain sales activity, pipeline visibility, and follow-up discipline by using company tools and adhering to reporting expectations.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitor offers, and opportunities in the merchant services and POS space.

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor, commission-only opportunity designed for sales professionals who want to control their income through performance.

What we are looking for

• Minimum 2 years of outside sales or B2B sales experience preferred
• Experience in merchant services, payment processing, POS sales, payroll, telecom, financial services, office technology, or other consultative B2B sales is strongly preferred
• Proven ability to self-source opportunities and generate your own pipeline
• Ability to sell from the first conversation to close
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable speaking with owners, operators, and decision-makers
• High level of personal accountability, follow-through, and professionalism
• Coachable, energetic, and self-reliant
• Strong work ethic and ownership mindset
• Organized enough to manage activity, pipeline, and follow-up consistently
• Ability to learn and present different POS system options and integrations
