Because of our reputation and the incredible work of our team, we have built a large and loyal customer base, and we have proven something powerful: when we launch the right offer, built on a pain point our customers already have, to the right segment, it outperforms almost everything else we do. Two launches proved it.

BUT…

Right now those launches only happen when a new product happens to land. There is no one whose job it is to find, build and launch the next great offer for the customers we already have, so retention revenue we know is there is being left on the table.

We are looking for an Offer Creation Copywriter who will own retention monetization end to end. Not acquisition, i.e. finding new customers, but finding the next great offer for our existing customers and launching it. Every week.

In order to achieve this, you will research and identify each offer, work with our sourcing team to bring the product in, write the presale and sales pages, brief design and dev to build them, then write the email launch strategy and copy to sell it. Idea to live launch, owned by you.

Results:

• Launch a new offer to our existing customer base every single week
• Grow retention revenue and customer lifetime value from the customers we already have
• Build a stable of proven, repeatable offers (bundles, buybacks, tiers, memberships, email-only events) that we can relaunch and automate
• Hit a rising win rate, i.e. more of your launches beating the control we already have

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify new offers and products built on pain points our customer base already has
• Apply the offer checklist to every idea: it complements what they already bought, it gets them results faster, and it extends a pain point they already have
• Create new offers from existing SKUs as well as new products, so there is a launch every week even when there is no new product
• Liaise with our sourcing / distribution manager to bring new products in (drop-ship model)
• Write the presale and sales page copy, and brief our design and dev teams to build the pages
• Write the segmented email launch arcs and the copy to sell each offer
• Own the post-purchase offer sequencing logic, i.e. which offer follows which purchase, with the right inclusion and exclusion of prior buyers
• Work alongside the email team and agency, with Tom (Head of Email) owning overall email strategy and flows

Requirements:

• Proven direct response offer creation and launch copywriting, with offers you can point to that sold
• A track record of building winning offers from existing products as well as new ones
• Able to write high-converting presale and sales pages, not just emails
• Comfortable driving a launch across sourcing, design and dev, i.e. an owner, not just a writer
• Understands segmentation and how to match an offer to the right slice of a list
• Experience in skin care, beauty, health or supplements strongly preferred
• Part-time, but all-in on the weekly launch cadence

Reward:

$5,000 to $7,000 per month depending on experience, part-time (20-30 hours)
