Why this role exists:

This role exists to protect margin, optimize live odds, and control sports risk in real time. You’ll help us maximize live profitability (GGR) and maintain data integrity by actively managing bet flows, monitoring match feeds, and executing instant trading decisions across high-volume live sporting events.

What you’ll drive:

Risk Management & Live Trading

• Execute primary risk management for live sports events, actively controlling bet flows and monitoring customer activity to protect margins.
• Analyze customer betting patterns and market trends in real time to identify suspicious activity, fraud, or arbitrage attempts using dedicated antifraud tooling.
• Respond instantly to live sports events and breaking news to adjust odds, match limits, and risk parameters ahead of market movements.

Platform Operations & Provider Management

• Control match publications, booking schedules, and limit configurations across provider consoles and internal trading tools.
• Configure and manage 3rd-party provider consoles (e.g., LSport), modifying templates, reading data feeds, and resolving functional data errors.
• Handle and process incoming technical tickets and operational requests from internal teams (Settlements, Antifraud, Supervising) and B2B partners within target response times.

Process Optimization & Collaboration

• Collect and organize trading data to assist in the continuous improvement, testing, and sorting of internal trading software and reports.
• Resolve live trading issues independently by creating detailed technical tickets, finding workaround solutions, and maintaining match uptime.
• Support junior traders and new team members by guiding them through daily operational procedures and troubleshooting console issues.

What makes you a GR8 fit:

Must-have

• 8+ months of experience in a sports trading / feed trader role (or progression from a Junior Feed Trader position).
• Deep knowledge of sports trading principles, odds movement, betting markets, and risk management frameworks.
• Proven ability to make split-second, autonomous decisions and manage risk during high-pressure, real-time live events.
• Hands-on experience navigating 3rd-party provider consoles (e.g., LSport), managing match bookings, and configuring templates.
• Proficiency in analyzing sports market data, identifying suspicious betting patterns, and utilizing antifraud tools.
• Strong analytical mindset with working knowledge of Excel and data sorting techniques.
• Good written communication skills in Ukrainian and English to process cross-team requests and log technical tickets.

Nice-to-have

• Demonstrated agility in discovering new live trading opportunities and tracking competitor margin strategies.
• Experience training or supporting newcomer traders on operational workflows and platform consoles.
• Familiarity with creating structured tickets for product teams to improve internal trading tools.
