About Your Next Opportunity: HTC is seeking a creative, digitally savvy, and driven Marketing Specialist to support the development and execution of marketing initiatives for the VIVERSE product line. This role will contribute across social media, content creation, digital marketing, and community engagement, helping strengthen brand awareness and drive meaningful engagement with our audiences. The ideal candidate combines strong communication and storytelling skills with hands-on experience creating digital content and managing social media channels. You should have 1–2 years of experience in the games or XR industry, along with established connections within those communities. You should be comfortable working across multiple platforms, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies, and translating marketing objectives into engaging content and campaigns.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support the development and execution of marketing and social media strategies for the VIVERSE product line.
• Manage VIVERSE social media accounts, including content planning, post creation, publishing, and community engagement.
• Create and edit engaging content for social media, digital marketing campaigns, product communications, and tutorials, including voice recordings where appropriate.
• Assist in developing and maintaining content calendars and campaign plans across digital channels.
• Monitor online communities and social channels to identify trends, opportunities, questions, and potential issues.
• Respond to comments, inquiries, and complaints in a timely and appropriate manner, escalating issues when necessary.
• Monitor and analyze social media and marketing performance and provide recommendations to improve engagement and campaign effectiveness.
• Assist in managing relationships and day-to-day activities with external social media, creative, and marketing agencies.
• Support influencer marketing initiatives, collaborations, and other partnership opportunities.
• Research digital marketing trends, social media developments, audience behavior, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for HTC and VIVERSE.
• Support SEO initiatives, including keyword research, content optimization, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing content and communications are aligned with product, brand, and business objectives.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Abilities):

• 1–2 years of experience working in the games or XR industry, with established connections in those communities.
• Proven experience working as a social media manager, community manager, or content creator.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using major social media platforms and digital content management tools.
• Working knowledge of social media analytics, digital marketing performance metrics, and Google Analytics.
• Knowledge of SEO and keyword research.
• Experience creating or coordinating multimedia content, including graphics, video, or audio.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to develop engaging content for different audiences.
• Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Abilities):

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with graphic design and content creation tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Experience with video production and editing.
• Experience with influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or community management.
• Familiarity with emerging social media platforms, digital trends, and online communities.
• Experience working with marketing agencies or other external creative partners.

At the time of posting, HTC's estimated hourly wage for this position is $31.25 – $34.90 USD. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including candidate skills, qualifications, experience, business needs, and geographic location. This position is also eligible for participation in our discretionary bonus programs.
