Job Description

Job Title: Manual QA Tester

Position Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enter, update, organize, and maintain information about software applications and versions in our workflow management system
  • Follow step-by-step test scripts to verify that software features and workflows function as expected
  • Record test results accurately and provide screenshots when errors or unexpected behavior occur
  • Report software issues using clear descriptions and easy-to-follow reproduction steps
  • Research roofing shingles and other building material products online
  • Collect, verify, and organize product details to help build and maintain a comprehensive materials catalog
  • Review entered information for completeness, consistency, and accuracy
  • Communicate regularly with the team regarding progress, questions, findings, and blockers
  • Complete assigned tasks independently while meeting deadlines and quality standards

Requirements:

Has previous experience in technical data management, database administration, product catalog development, CRM data operations, or manual software testing.

Familiarity with bug-tracking, task management, or project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, or Airtable.

Experience working with CRM or workflow management systems.

General confidence in navigating websites, applications, and software platforms.

Basic knowledge of automated software testing.

Experience in roofing, construction, contracting, or building-material research is highly preferred.

Basic requirements:

  • Must be proficient in speaking and writing English very clearly
  • Must have relevant work experience
  • Be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding [mandatory]
  • Must be available for video meetings with your camera on (when needed)

  • Device: Reliable laptop or desktop computer.
  • Internet: High-speed connection (minimum 25 Mbps).
  • Audio: Noise-canceling headset.
  • Video: Webcam for virtual meetings.
