JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Manager, S2C – Operations is responsible for day-to-day execution of Upstream Source-to-Contract functions — supplier qualification, compliance standards, and due diligence — across all procurement activities. This role manages due diligence processes, monitors regulatory requirements, and ensures suppliers meet contractual and organizational obligations. The Manager partners with the Manager, S2C – Software Support to enforce compliance controls within procurement workflows and identifies opportunities to strengthen risk-management practices.

This position requires schedule flexibility to support the APAC region and collaborate across multiple time zones.

JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supplier Qualification & Compliance

• Oversee day-to-day supplier qualification and compliance activities, ensuring suppliers meet contractual, regulatory, and organizational obligations before onboarding.
• Manage due diligence processes for new and existing suppliers, including risk-tier assessment across exempt, non-exempt, and risk-level classifications.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and evolving compliance standards, updating supplier requirements accordingly.

Process & Controls Management

• Partner with the Manager, S2C – Software Support to enforce compliance controls within procurement workflows and platforms.
• Identify and drive process improvements to strengthen risk-management practices across supplier qualification.
• Support internal stakeholders with guidance on compliance requirements, escalations, and exception handling.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation of supplier qualification decisions and compliance activity.
• Oversee the supplier bank account validation process, serving as the highest point of escalation for validation exceptions and discrepancies.

Reporting & Cross-Functional Support

• Track and report supplier compliance metrics — SLA adherence, qualification cycle time, non-conformance rates — to the Director, Operations.
• Support supplier ESG/emissions data collection efforts in partnership with related teams.
• Serve as point of contact for supplier compliance escalations from regional operations teams.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–5 years of experience in supplier compliance, procurement risk management, or vendor due diligence.
• Working knowledge of sanctions screening, insurance verification, and supplier risk-tiering methodology.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements affecting supplier qualification (e.g., licensing, certifications).
• Experience maintaining audit-ready documentation.
• Strong organizational and process-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS

• Detail-oriented compliance and risk-assessment skills.
• Strong written communication for supplier-facing and internal audiences.
• Comfortable managing high volumes of qualification requests under SLA pressure.
• Collaborative, cross-functional mindset partnering with Software Support and Operations peers.

The salary range for this position is $73,000 - $85,000.

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location. Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance. Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
