Manager of customer growth

About the role…

You'll own the GMV outcome for a portfolio of roughly 15 of Archive's mid-tier brand partners, including names like Sam Edelman, Hanna Andersson, and Sur La Table, representing a combined ACV of about $1.55M with the potential to grow 30-50% year over year. This is a relationship-first role for someone who thrives managing a high-volume book of accounts, balancing competing priorities with ease, and building real trust with brand stakeholders. You'll bring tenacity and optimism to every conversation, helping brands see the opportunity in resale and turning hesitation into buy-in.

Responsibilities

• Relationship management
• Build and maintain relationships with brand stakeholders across your portfolio
• Run a regular cadence with brands (1-2x/month meetings, 2-4 QBRs/year)
• Represent Archive to senior brand stakeholders, including executives who join QBRs alongside Commercial leadership
• Navigate difficult conversations; missed targets, scope disputes, and escalations
• Commercial strategy
• Own the growth thesis and expansion strategy for each brand in your portfolio
• Lead expansion conversations within existing markets; partner with Commercial leadership on expansion into new markets (e.g. EU)
• Build out analytics, forecasting, and P&L creation (line by line) to track and drive profitability across your portfolio
• Develop business cases for strategic bets and pitch upsells
• Partner with Sales and Commercial leadership on contract motions and pricing
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Partner with Marketing on cross-functional initiatives, including collaborating on our brand summit and helping source and coordinate event speakers
• Work closely with our Customer Success team to help resolve escalated support and site issues affecting your brands' storefronts
• Coordinate with our CX team as needed on matters that intersect with the B2C customer experience
• Work cross-functionally with Product to prioritize high-impact, high-profit features for brand portfolio

Requirements

• Experience owning revenue outcomes across a high-volume portfolio of brand or client accounts, in a customer success, account management, or commercial role
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills; comfortable managing competing timelines across a large account book
• Charismatic, tenacious, and optimistic; comfortable navigating pushback and selling stakeholders on new ideas
• Executive presence; able to comfortably engage with senior brand stakeholders in settings like QBRs
• A self-directed leader who takes full ownership of their accounts, tests new ideas without waiting to be pushed, and brings creative, scrappy problem-solving to a role where the tools you need don't always exist yet
• Fluent with AI tools and motivated to go deeper- prototyping new reports, workflows, and tooling in Claude for the team

Nice to have

• Experience in e-commerce, retail, or the resale/recommerce industry
• Background in a high-growth B2B SaaS or marketplace environment

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $120,000-140,000, and is eligible for variable compensation. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but aren't limited to) such as role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, location, and experience. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible for equity as well, and all employees are eligible for a full benefits package including employee and dependent healthcare and 401(k) enrollment.

This is a remote role open across the continental US. We have offices in New York and the SF Bay Area, with hybrid options for those nearby.
