US$80–US$140/hour | Remote contractor opportunity with Micro1

Micro1 is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to develop Python-based machine learning models and support reliable training and inference workflows. Work includes managing large datasets and MongoDB, preprocessing and feature engineering, model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning and benchmarking, documenting experiments, and translating findings into practical improvements with cross-functional teams.

Micro1 seeks strong Python skills and experience with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar frameworks; MongoDB and data management; real-world model development and delivery; evaluation metrics and data preparation; and clear documentation and communication. Cloud or enterprise deployment experience and effective remote collaboration are relevant.

Engagement: Independent contractor, remote. Micro1 advertises US$80–US$140/hour.
