The Launch Manager is the operational hub of the marketing department, and the person who connects every team that touches a launch or a campaign. Big-picture brand strategy stays with leadership. This person owns the email marketing operations and lifecycle engine end to end, including the strategy behind it: the ideas and testing that push open rates, compliance, click-through rates, and conversion rates up, and the calls on what to build, what to test, and what to fix. They keep the marketing calendar, run every marketing launch project to completion, build and manage email campaigns and automations, load and launch funnels and promotions, maintain reporting, ensure proper T&Cs, and keep the tech stack clean and connected. When the leadership team commits to something, this person turns it into a finished, tested, on-time deliverable and reports back on how it performed.
Daily: Check project status and the calendar, move work forward, unblock what's stuck, QA and load anything going out, monitor active campaigns and automations.
Weekly: Build and send scheduled emails and promotions, update reporting, run or contribute to a marketing status check-in, coordinate with contractors and agencies on the week's deliverables.
Monthly: Full reporting pulled together for leadership with analysis and recommendations, review of upcoming calendar and campaigns, audit of automations and systems, documentation cleanup.
Ongoing: Spot bottlenecks before they become delays, improve processes, keep the stack clean, and ensure every initiative launches on time.
A track record of owning marketing operations or project management in a fast-moving environment. You can point to projects you kept on the rails and tell us exactly how. You love execution more than brainstorming. The satisfaction of getting things done is what drives you. You're extremely detail-oriented and organized to the point that details don't slip past you, and you're proactive about staying ahead of them. You're technical and systems-minded. You learn new tools fast, and you like figuring out how they connect. You're data-obsessed. Metrics, reporting, and accountability energize you instead of draining you. You're a strong, resourceful problem solver who's comfortable figuring things out independently (no hand-holding required). You move fast and you communicate well. You keep everyone aligned without being asked to. You're on the pulse of the latest AI tools and how to use them for speed and efficiency. You stay current, and you get excited by working smarter.
Revenue growth through email, 80%+ retention, Projects consistently launch on time, predictably, not through last-minute heroics, Marketing reporting is accurate and timely, and leadership always has current visibility into key metrics, Marketing systems run smoothly, with automations and campaigns operating without constant patching, Campaigns get executed without needing oversight, because you own the details, Team communication improves, with clearer ownership and fewer status check-ins, Marketing becomes more scalable and less dependent on leadership stepping in.
