The FACTS/HVDC Field Service Engineer performs and leads field service activities related to the commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, upgrade, and lifecycle support of FACTS and HVDC systems at customer sites. The role supports safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment by applying engineering knowledge, field service practices, and technical problem-solving skills. This position works closely with customers, project teams, engineering, quality, and other service functions to execute field activities, resolve technical issues, and improve service performance.
This role requires experience in Engineering/Technology and Service Engineering. Knowledge level is typically comparable to: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience) 1+ years of related experience in field service, commissioning, maintenance, or troubleshooting of HVDC, FACTS, substations, power electronics, protection and control systems, or related utility/power transmission equipment.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $72,000.00 and $108,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
