Senior Java / Oracle Commerce Developer - 100% Remote Role

Position: PLCB – TAS3 A4 SC1 (Java Developer)

Client: State of Pennsylvania

Location: 100% Remote

Contract: 2.5 Months

Potential Extension: If performance is good, the contract is likely to be extended through 06/30/2027 and may be evaluated for further extension.

Interview: 100% virtual via Microsoft Teams with video enabled

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $45/hr on C2C

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, debug, test, and support complex Oracle-based applications.
• Work on PLCB applications including Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FWGS.com), Licensee Online Ordering Portal (LOOP), and Associate Portal (AP).
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) and related systems.
• Configure and support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Analyze existing code and design/develop solutions for business requirements and defects.
• Perform application integration, system enhancements, testing, and UAT support.
• Participate in peer code reviews and follow Commonwealth change-management processes.
• Provide level-of-effort estimates and technical recommendations for enhancements.
• Support non-production environments and promote code changes between environments.
• Troubleshoot application issues, investigate defects, and implement corrective solutions.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
• Perform occasional after-hours maintenance activities when required.
