This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an IT Support Specialist based in United States.

This is a remote technical support opportunity focused on helping users resolve everyday hardware, software, and connectivity challenges.

You’ll provide hands-on support across both Windows and Mac environments while ensuring users have a reliable technology experience.

The role combines troubleshooting, account administration, network support, and responsive help desk service.

You’ll work directly with users to diagnose issues, explain solutions clearly, and resolve technical problems efficiently.

Accountabilities

• Provide remote technical support for hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve user technology problems while minimizing disruption to their work.
• Support users across both Windows and Mac environments.
• Manage and maintain user accounts and access through Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and basic network issues, escalating complex problems when appropriate.
• Provide clear, professional guidance to users and explain technical solutions in an accessible manner.
• Respond to help desk requests and maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions through ticketing systems when applicable.
• Support Microsoft 365 environments and related productivity tools where required.
• Assist with POS systems and related technical issues when applicable.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve escalated technical problems and maintain service quality.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a customer-focused approach.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional IT support or help desk experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting both Mac and Windows environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, operating systems, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a broader technical team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced setting.
• Customer-focused mindset with patience, professionalism, and a service-oriented approach.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 is preferred.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing and service-management systems is preferred.
• IT support certifications such as CompTIA A+ are advantageous.
• Ability to travel within the United States if required.
• Availability for contract-based work and the ability to work effectively from a remote environment.
