Role Overview

The International Marketing Director is a strategic and commercially focused leadership role responsible for accelerating Revision Skincare’s growth across international markets. The role acts as the key bridge between the Global Marketing organization and local markets, ensuring that the global brand vision is effectively translated into relevant, impactful and locally appropriate strategies and activations.

Working closely with the CMO, CGGO, Global teams and local commercial partners, the International Marketing Director will drive the development and execution of market strategies, strengthen brand equity, identify new growth opportunities, and bring local consumer, market and competitive insights back into the global organization. The role will also play a critical role in shaping international innovation, digital and omnichannel initiatives, commercial programs and marketing capabilities, while ensuring consistency with the overall Revision Skincare brand strategy.

Objective of the role

The Director, International Marketing will work closely with the CMO and CGGO to:

• Support the Commercial Team to review and deploy the Global Plans in the Regions to the local partners.
• Customize the Global Marketing Plans to meet the local market’s needs.
• Support the Commercial Teams in working with the Global Teams to develop ad Hoc Commercial and Marketing Projects which could not necessarily have a Global Scope. For Example, Asia Product Innovation, Regime Kits, Value Offer Proposition Or Dedicated KCPs activations which can be different Region by Region.
• Support the CGGO and the CMO to Develop Performance Marketing KPIs for the digital marketing ecosystem, social media, influencer marketing and other traditional marketing platform.
• Work together with the Global Digital Team to roll out the DTC and Other Online channels globally.
• Work with the local markets to brief the Global team to develop localized Assets (Digital and non-Digital).
• Work together with the local partners in developing assets with local suppliers and CMs.
• Lead local projects of developing marketing activities and product development with local relevancy.
• Feed the team with Research and Analysis of market, consumer dynamics and product gaps to develop both short- and long-term strategy for business growth that is sustainable and consistent for internal brands as well as identifying new innovation needed to meet market demand.
• Support the Global teams to develop regionally relevant products and 360 go-to-market plans to build brand equity and awareness in the international markets.
• Attend the Innovation monthly meetings and all the relevant meeting of the Global Team.
• Build a process to monthly collect and consolidate all the International in market activation to internally and externally celebrate Revision Skincare successes.
• Drive Office Excellence through excellent product presentation and visual merchandising execution as well as implementation of protocols and improve client relationship management process with enhance training module to escalate the service and productivity level of retail staff.
• Lead the International Advisory board in partnership with the R&D and Science Team.

Key Accountabilities

Business Strategy & Planning

• Participate in the Sub-Regions and Market business reviews.
• Be part of the strategic planning sessions to represent the markets in creating relevant products & programs with short terms and long terms perspective.
• Support the CMO and CGGO to implement the Brand strategic vision in the international markets, leveraging data and insights to ensure the execution in each market is in line with global vision.
• Consolidate & communicate feedback received from local partners related to future launches / activations in a timely manner.
• Create feedback loop of what’s working/what is not working from a 360 marketing POV, both to Global teams as well as across international markets.
• Propose and build activation plans to meet the specific local and regional markets needs.
• Monitor competitive marketing activities and provide insights to Global functions and across international teams.
• Provide input on local pricing strategy.
• Feedback and gain final approvals from senior management teams on local promotions, influencer partnerships, and locally produced materials.
• Act as the point of contact to remove obstacles to international business operations. (i.e. regulatory issues, creative operations/usage extensions, etc.)
• Act as the point of contact of our International Advisory Board members.

Product Development

• Work closely with key markets in leading projects to create and launch new product that leverage local insights, analytics, and trends.
• Partner with Global Marketing to coordinate the development of Commercial Programs to meet KCP and market needs. For Example: Ecommerce exclusive kits, Regime Sets, Exclusive kits, Regional KCPs offers and promos.

Digital/Social Media Marketing

• Work together with the Global Digital team in developing assets fit for use for the International Business Development.
• Implement and Cascade the guidance for international Retailer.com / Pure Players / Social Commerce / Livestreams in line with the directions given by the CGGO and CMO.

• Ability to communicate fluently, both spoken and written English. Other languages a plus.
• Has excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of energy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate impact.
• Ability to influence and work cross-functionally across several internal and external teams.
• Strategic and Critical thinker with the ability to clearly communicate a vision.
• Enthusiastic, passionate with Strong Commercial and Marketing Working Experience in the Beauty industry.
• Thrive in a start-up environment and navigate effectively in complex and ambiguous situations.
• Agility in managing relationships with Senior and Top Management.
• Able to work with a multi-countries diverse team and possibly remotely based.
• High levels of collaboration and with strong teamwork ethics and culturally sensitive.
• Experience working with Global Teams and collaborating across multiple geographies.
• Experience in Developing and Leading Retail Excellence Programs with an Omni-Channel approach.
• High Level of Flexibility in working with multiple time zones and with the direct boss remotely located.
• High Level of Flexibility to travel 40% of the time in pick moments.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 10 to 15 years Sales & Marketing experience in multiple geographies and Global Roles. Beauty Industry is a must have. Professional Beauty, Clinic and Physician channel experience is a plus.

Compensation

The target base salary range for this role is $160,000-$200,000 per year. This range reflects the anticipated compensation for the role. Where pay falls withing the range may vary based on many factors, including, but not limited to, job responsibilities, skills, experience, education, certifications, location and applicable geographic pay zones, market conditions, internal equity and business considerations. Compensation decisions are made based on an assessment of the candidate’s qualifications and the totality of relevant factors.
