You will build data products and user-facing reports that help customers understand workforce performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and UX teams, you will turn complex data into actionable insights and better product decisions. You will develop scalable analytics models and pipelines while ensuring reporting remains fast, reliable, and cost-effective. The position also provides opportunities to work with AI agents to automate workflows and surface intelligent insights. This is a fully remote, English-speaking role suited to an analytical and product-minded professional who enjoys solving complex data problems.

Accountabilities:

  • Build and maintain user-facing reports and analytics products that help customers understand workforce data, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for measurable improvement.
  • Develop and maintain data models and pipelines in Google BigQuery, applying techniques such as partitioning and clustering to optimize reporting performance, scalability, and cost.
  • Apply statistical methods to analyze data, generate meaningful insights, and support informed product and business decisions.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Designers, and UX Researchers to conduct feature analyses, respond to ad-hoc data requests, and deliver reporting that surfaces actionable product insights.
  • Review data schemas for new product features and provide guidance to ensure data structures can support future analytics, reporting, and business intelligence requirements.
  • Participate in pull request reviews and provide constructive technical feedback that contributes to reliable, maintainable, high-quality code.
  • Troubleshoot issues throughout the analytics stack, from data ingestion and warehouse layers through the semantic layer, identifying root causes of discrepancies and implementing effective solutions.
  • Work with AI agent tools integrated into data applications to support workflow automation, improve data experiences, and surface useful insights for customers and internal teams.
  • Contribute to the Data team’s shared knowledge base, document useful practices, and stay current with emerging approaches in analytics, data engineering, and AI-assisted development.
  • Help strengthen analytics processes and data products by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, usability, and the quality of insights delivered to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics development, or a similar data-focused role.
  • Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience using Google BigQuery and Looker.
  • Practical Python experience for data-related tasks, including scripting, data engineering, pipeline development, or data processing.
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and their application to analytics, reporting, and scalable data products.
  • Solid statistical foundation, including familiarity with techniques such as t-tests and linear regression.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools and large language models for use cases such as code generation, data cleaning, analysis, and workflow automation.
  • Strong ability to communicate data concepts, analytical findings, and technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Good product and business judgment, with the ability to connect analytical work to customer needs, product outcomes, and broader business objectives.
  • Experience building and managing projects within BigQuery Analytics Hub is a strong advantage but not required.
  • Knowledge of Java is considered an additional asset.
  • Strong English communication skills are required, as the role operates fully in English; candidates should have at least a strong B2 level of spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn emerging data and AI practices.

Benefits

  • Fully remote, full-time position with a 40-hour work week.
  • Remote work arrangement within a Latin America-based team.
  • Standard schedule of approximately 8 hours per day aligned with East Coast U.S. office hours.
  • Independent contractor agreement.
  • Compensation paid in USD.
  • Flexible payment frequency, with the option to receive payments biweekly or monthly.
  • Opportunity to work on an AI-focused SaaS platform at the intersection of analytics, software development, and intelligent data applications.
  • Hands-on exposure to Google BigQuery, Looker, Python, data pipelines, statistical analysis, and Generative AI tools.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Design, and UX teams.
  • Opportunity to build customer-facing data products and influence data-informed product decisions.
