Micro1 contractor opportunity

Micro1 is seeking experienced in-house counsel for part-time work training and evaluating AI for real-world legal contract review, with a focus on technology agreements and contract risk. The work involves simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises; reviewing AI responses to contract scenarios; creating evaluation frameworks and grading criteria; and working with product and research teams to improve contract review data, guidance and model performance.

Micro1 requires at least three years of in-house experience in technology transactions, particularly negotiating MSAs, NDAs, ISDAs and derivatives; strong communication and analytical skills; close attention to detail; and experience working across disciplines. AI or legal-technology experience is a plus.

Engagement: Independent contractor, remote and part-time. Micro1 advertises US$90–$130/hour. Compensation is task-based: payment is for completed tasks that meet project specifications. Micro1 states an average handling time of approximately 3.5 hours per task. The effective hourly rate depends on completed tasks being signed off; the advertised hourly range is not a guaranteed hourly wage.
