Logos is a movement supporting the development of the decentralised web. Logos technologies lay the foundations for a freer internet upon which communities can evolve into network states. Each protocol in the Logos stack seeks to empower its users while upholding civil liberties and fundamental freedoms.
Logos is building the technology and community required for a more sovereign, decentralised world. Our technology stack spans decentralised infrastructure, communications and storage, with a focus on privacy, censorship resistance and permissionless systems. We work at the intersection of protocol development, Web3 infrastructure and ecosystem building.
We’re looking for a Head of Business Development to own and drive business development across Logos, while leading a team of two.
This isn't a traditional sales role. We're looking for someone who is deeply embedded in the Web3 infrastructure ecosystem, with a strong understanding of how decentralised networks operate and experience working with/launching privacy-focused protocols. Crucially, you'll have been through a mainnet launch and understand what it takes to build the partnerships, ecosystem and infrastructure relationships required both in the lead-up to launch and as the network scales post-mainnet.
As Head of Business Development, you will lead the development and execution of strategies to grow the Logos ecosystem. You will be responsible for establishing strategic partnerships, designing and executing growth strategies and building any relevant commercial relationships.
You'll identify where Logos technology can solve real problems, build relationships with protocols and infrastructure providers, and work closely with our technical teams to turn opportunities into integrations and long-term partnerships.
You'll also manage and develop a team of two, providing direction and prioritisation while remaining highly hands-on yourself.
You should be comfortable discussing concepts such as:
You don't need to write production code, but you need genuine technical curiosity and enough depth to understand what we're building, why it matters, and how it can be used by others.
Manage, mentor and develop an existing team of two BD contributors. Set priorities and ensure the team is focused on the opportunities most likely to create meaningful adoption. Establish a disciplined approach to pipeline management, ownership and follow-through. Support the team on complex partnerships and negotiations. Create accountability without introducing unnecessary processes or bureaucracy. Remain hands-on with strategically important relationships and opportunities.
Partner closely with protocol, engineering, product, ecosystem and communications teams. Bring market and partner feedback back into the organisation to help inform product and ecosystem priorities. Translate technical capabilities into clear propositions for different partners and use cases. Help technical teams understand the commercial and strategic context behind potential integrations. Ensure partnerships result in tangible outcomes rather than announcements alone.
We'd be especially interested in people who have worked within privacy focused ecosystems in areas such as:
Interview with our People Ops team. Interview with Artem (IR Lead) & Rahul (BD). Task. Interview with Kaushal (EcoDev Team Lead). Interview with Co-founders, Jarrad & Carl. We occasionally use cognitive tests and/or personality tests to gain insight into candidates' suitability with our org. The results provide an additional data point for us when making our hiring decisions. The steps may change along the way if we see it makes sense to adapt the interview stages, so please consider the above as a guideline.
The expected compensation range for this role is negotiable, dependent on how we assess your skills and experience throughout our interview process. We are happy to pay in any mix of fiat/crypto.
