This approximately 13 week remote (or onsite at either New Albany, Ohio; Holly Springs, North Carolina; South San Francisco, California; or Thousand Oaks, California) Graduate internship program offers important project and operational experiences with the world’s leading biotechnology company. This role will also support the preparation of business case proposals to Executive Engineering Leadership. During this program, you will work closely with a team of Amgen’s Engineers that support one of the following areas:
This role is designed for graduate students who want to apply advanced technical, analytical, digital, or research capabilities to real-world Engineering challenges. Projects may use data, automation, AI-enabled tools, and continuous-improvement methods to improve project delivery, productivity, quality, safety, sustainability, and decision-making.

Degree concentration(s) in one of the following areas:
Experience applying engineering, analytics, research, or continuous-improvement methods to solve complex problems
Interest in applying AI, automation, data, and digital tools to improve Engineering processes, capital-project delivery, quality, safety, or operational performance
Experience with one or more of the following is preferred: Python, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, data visualization, statistical analysis, process modeling, BIM/Revit, automation platforms, or generative AI tools
Ability to develop sound analyses, synthesize information from multiple sources, and make actionable, evidence-based recommendations
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts clearly to varied audiences
Demonstrated initiative, project-management ability, and comfort working both independently and in a matrixed team environment

The base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $35.34 - $41.20 per hour.
