The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) is seeking a Director of Government and Political Affairs, Health and Payment Policy to lead the development and implementation of the Society’s policy, advocacy, government relations, and private payer strategies. As a member of the senior management team, this individual will work closely with physician and staff leadership to identify and respond to emerging reimbursement, regulatory, patient safety, and legislative issues at the state and federal levels.
In this role, you’ll guide strategic communications with government agencies, private payers, healthcare organizations, and other key stakeholders while strengthening ASPS’s relationships with national, state, regional, and local partners. You’ll also collaborate with committees, task forces, volunteers, and staff leaders to advance programs that support public education, clinical practice, patient safety, research, and the overall mission of ASPS.
