Our client, a leading investment firm, is seeking a Front-End Developer to join their team in New York, NY!

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js.
• Contribute to full-stack development - Python/FastAPI/RPC protocol based microservices and endpoints.
• Build performant, scalable, reusable component libraries.
• Develop and optimize complex workflows and rich UI components.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and optimal performance.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing web applications.
• Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product owners to deliver robust features.
• Own the full lifecycle of development—from analysis and design to implementation—using Agile development practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ (or 5+ with exceptional expertise) years of experience of full-stack or front-end development.
• Expert in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as Vue.js (Vue 3).
• Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Strong understanding of browser internals, rendering behavior, and developer tooling (e.g., DevTools).
• Experience working with state management (Pinia preferred) and API-driven apps.
• Comfortable integrating with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or custom RPC protocols.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript libraries (Chart.js, D3, AG Grid, etc.).
• Hands-on contributing to or building microservices using Python (FastAPI).
• Familiar with Git, Agile development practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with geospatial front-end tools (Mapbox GL, Leaflet, deck.gl).
• Familiarity with institutional environmental, social, governance datasets such as MSCI ESG Ratings.
• Familiarity with asset-backed securities/finance data structure.
