Position: Frontend Developer (PR1 Level)

About the role:

Build and enhance a responsive, high-performance e-commerce website. The role involves developing reusable user-interface components, integrating APIs, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, optimizing page performance, and collaborating with UX, backend, and QA teams. Front-end web development with strong hands-on expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization. Working knowledge of Vue.js or Nuxt.js is desirable.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and SASS/SCSS.
• Good understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, DOM manipulation, events, and hands-on debugging of frontend issues.
• Experience with jQuery and Ajax.
• Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with build tools and package managers such as Webpack and npm.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of semantic HTML and accessibility best practices.
• Basic knowledge of SEO-friendly frontend development.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting UI/browser issues.
• Ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Basic to good understanding of TypeScript.
• Experience with browser dev tools for debugging and performance analysis.
• Basic understanding of Core Web Vitals, page speed, lazy loading, image optimization, and caching.
• Knowledge of component-based frontend development.
• Ability to use AI tools effectively for frontend development, debugging, code improvement, documentation, productivity, and problem-solving.
• Understanding of design-to-code workflows and collaboration with UI/UX teams.
• Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks/libraries such as Vue.js, Nuxt.js, or React.js.

Good to Have:

Experience using AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day frontend workflows. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as OpenAI Codex, Amazon Q, or similar tools.
