Melotech is revolutionizing media and entertainment. We create art through technology for humans to enjoy. In just 24 months, our work has been heard, watched and loved for over 3 billion minutes worldwide.

Founded by entrepreneur and investor Soheil Mirpour, we are backed by top VCs Cherry Ventures, Speedinvest and GFC, alongside world-class angels from firms such as Spotify, Blackstone and KKR.

What you will do

Melotech's products already reach millions, yet hardly anyone knows the brand. That is where you come in.

You are our founding brand hire, and you will define what Melotech means to the world from a blank page. There is no brand book, no house style, no established narrative to protect. You decide how we sound, who we are for and why anyone should care, then you make the world take notice. On a typical day, your tasks may include:

• Defining our story: one coherent narrative that makes sense of what we are building for fans, press and partners, and keeping it consistent everywhere it shows up
• Owning how the world perceives us across earned media, owned channels, partnerships and the moments we create ourselves
• Working with our creatives to ship creative campaigns and stunts that earn attention rather than buy it
• Opening doors with your own network of press, creators and brands, and turning those relationships into partnerships that would not happen without you
• Directing agencies and freelancers on execution while you remain the constant strategic driver
• Laying the reputation groundwork in a category under real public scrutiny, so we lead the hard conversations rather than react to them

Who you are

We're looking for a brand builder who happens to be a communicator, or a communicator who builds brands. You have taken a company from unknown to unmissable before, and you can point at it.

Typically, your profile will look like this:

• 3 or more years in brand, communications or creative marketing, preferably with real time at an early-stage company
• You have been part of a zero-to-one brand journey, and you were there early enough to have shaped it rather than inherited it
• You have shaped a coherent overarching story, not just run communications at scale
• You have made things that travelled: campaigns, stunts, formats, moments people talked about
• You bring a network and you use it. Partnerships you can open yourself are a large part of the value here
• You thrive in a fast-paced and performance-oriented environment
• A big plus: music-industry relationships and artist or label connections, and you're internet-native. You know what's trending, what's breaking, and you're into music, media or social

This is a building role, not a caretaking one: if your best work was producing content at scale or protecting an established brand, this is not the right fit.

You get a company that is already working and a brand that does not exist yet. Every decision you make sets the trajectory, and there is nothing to unpick first. You will work directly with our founder, with the freedom to make bold calls and the budget to execute them. You're not a cog in the machine but the captain of your own ship, rewarded for performance and respected for leadership. Flat hierarchies mean that your voice matters, your ideas get implemented, and your impact is immediate.

We pay competitive salaries and make you an owner of the business with equity. We work remotely to give you complete freedom over your life, while meeting regularly around the world for global offsites where we strategize, bond, and push boundaries together.

What the process will look like

We hire on a rolling basis. Earliest starting date is always ASAP.

Once you begin our process, you can progress from start to offer within a week, depending on how quickly you can move through each stage:

• Initial interview: 30-minute introductory call - getting to know you
• Case interview: 90-minute case discussion - present and debate your skills
• Founder interview: 90-minute interview with our CEO - going deep on all topics
• Offer, contract signing and onboarding

Note: As we are still in stealth, you will learn more about Melotech as you progress through the stages. By the end of the Founder interview, you will have a full grasp of our business and the details of your role.
