Job Title: Enterprise Architect – Post-Acquisition Integration

About the Opportunity:

ZipStaff is seeking a senior Enterprise Architect to support post-acquisition technology integration at a major healthcare organization. You will define target-state architecture and integration principles for an acquired entity, evaluate technology alignment, identify rationalization opportunities, and shape future-state operating models. This is a senior architecture and governance role — not an application-development or infrastructure-admin seat.

What You’ll Do:

• Define target-state architecture and integration principles for the acquired entity.
• Evaluate current-state technology alignment against the enterprise architecture and integration strategy.
• Identify application and platform rationalization opportunities.
• Design future-state operating models spanning business, application, and integration layers.
• Establish and apply architecture governance across integration workstreams.
• Partner with technology, business, and integration stakeholders to drive architecture decisions.
• Produce clear architecture artifacts that support executive decision-making and program execution.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of enterprise architecture, technology strategy, or integration-architecture experience.
• Proven experience defining target-state architecture for complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with integration architecture across multiple systems and platforms.
• Demonstrated experience with application rationalization (assess, retain, retire, replace, or consolidate).
• Strong architecture governance experience.
• Ability to evaluate technology alignment and recommend future-state operating models.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (no sponsorship now or in the future).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare, life-sciences, or other regulated-industry architecture experience.
• Prior M&A / post-acquisition integration architecture experience.
• Familiarity with TOGAF or comparable enterprise-architecture frameworks.
