Job Summary: Senior SAP BASIS Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the build, configuration, and ongoing support of SAP systems (ABAP, JAVA, HANA).
• Execute and manage SAP transports at OS, TMS, and application levels.
• Support high availability environments and perform homogeneous system copies.
• Collaborate with configurators and developers to provide technical SAP support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP application, integration, and performance issues.
• Oversee multiple SAP landscapes and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Review and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
• Coordinate technical development, scheduling, and issue resolution across projects.
• Contribute to SAP go-lives, upgrades, and full lifecycle implementations.
• Perform additional duties as required to help the organization achieve its goals.

Required Skills and Experience

• 15+ years’ experience in SAP BASIS administration and project engineering.
• Proven expertise supporting Netweaver systems (ECC, SRM, XI/PI, Enterprise Portal, BI).
• Senior-level proficiency in ABAP and JAVA homogeneous system copy procedures.
• Strong knowledge of SAP troubleshooting (ALE/RFC, IDOC, tRFC/qRFC, XI, ABAP dump analysis).
• Hands-on experience with SAP go-live and upgrade support.
• Technical skills in networking, Windows, Unix, Linux, Java as applied to SAP environments.
• End-to-end experience with SAP ECC landscape implementations.

• Agile practices for SAP Cloud systems
• Enhanced CTS+ setup, CCMS administration, ABAP debugging
• Experience with tools such as Adobe Connect, Virsa, Rev-Trac, BI tuning, SAP archiving
