Job Description

This is a remote position.

The Aviation Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for electrical load analysis, grounding principals, wire gauges, wire harness, wire assemblies. This project is for Aviation Company. This role requires collaboration with other engineering teams, manufacturing departments, and stakeholders to ensure the creation of efficient, reliable, and cost-effective mechanical designs.

MUST HAVE CATIA EXPERIENCE

Develop electrical designs from concept to production, using Catia V5.

  • Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for mechanical components and assemblies.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to ensure designs meet performance criteria.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers, to integrate electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to select materials and components that meet design requirements and cost constraints.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
  • Prepare and present design reviews and progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and apply new technologies and methods to improve designs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in CATIA is a must.
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with prototyping and testing electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., automotive interiors, aerospace interiors or rail) may be preferred.
