The same technology that powers Bidgely's customer suite also enables a set of powerful grid applications. From a distributed energy resources (DER) and grid edge perspective, Bidgely is accelerating utility innovation with data-driven solutions for solar PVs, electric vehicle (EV) detection, EV behavioral load shifting and managed charging, load forecasting, grid analytics, and rate designs. Bidgely's UtilityAI™ energy analytics platform provides deep visibility into generation and consumption for better peak load shaping and grid planning and delivers targeted recommendations for new value-added products and services.

How You Fit In

The Director, Project Management leads Bidgely's most strategic and complex customer engagements as the company's senior program owner, while also owning the internal practice and portfolio management function for Customer Onboarding. Roughly 70% of this role is external and customer-facing — leading executive steering committees, senior stakeholder relationships, and cross-functional delivery teams for Bidgely's most strategic accounts. The remaining 30% is internal — owning portfolio-level reporting, KPIs, and forecasting intelligence, and driving methodology and practice development across the team. This role is a peer to the Director, Customer Onboarding, and both report into the VP of Customer Onboarding.

Core responsibilities span the following areas:

Strategic Program Delivery (~70%)

• Own delivery outcomes for Bidgely's most strategic, complex, and highest-ACV customer engagements, serving as the senior program owner from Onboarding through Launch
• Lead executive steering committees and senior stakeholder relationships, serving as the primary point of escalation and trusted advisor for the customer's leadership team
• Manage cross-functional delivery teams spanning Engineering, Product, Delivery, and Sales to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Apply strong functional and customer management skills to translate business requirements into implementation plans and solution design decisions
• Oversee project financials — including cost tracking, budget, and margin — for assigned strategic engagements
• Represent Bidgely in executive business reviews and strategic account sales presentations
• Contribute to contract reviews, statements of work, and proposals for the largest and most complex deals

Practice & Portfolio Management (~30%)

• Own portfolio-level reporting and forecasting intelligence — delivery timelines, revenue and margin trends, and resourcing — partnering with the VP of Customer Onboarding on portfolio-level financial planning
• Define and report portfolio-level KPIs — implementation timelines, delivery quality, and team efficiency — to executive leadership on a regular cadence
• Monitor customer sentiment and health through and beyond onboarding to ensure strong post-launch outcomes and support renewal and expansion
• Own and continuously improve Bidgely's implementation methodology, tooling, and training curriculum
• Own program management of cross-functional improvement initiatives as it relates to implementation success and quality
• Partner with Sales leadership on deal structuring and scoping for strategic pursuits
• Contribute to proposals and statements of work for new and expanding strategic engagements

Skills and Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 10-15 years of program or project management experience at a SaaS company, with a track record leading the most strategic, complex, high-touch enterprise engagements
• Prior experience at a utility, a utility software/technology company, or a consulting firm serving utility clients
• Demonstrated experience leading executive steering committees and senior stakeholder relationships on complex, multi-workstream programs
• Strong functional and customer management skills, with experience translating business requirements into implementation and solution design decisions
• Experience managing cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product, Delivery, and Sales
• Experience owning project financials — budget, margin, and cost tracking — for large enterprise engagements
• Experience building and maintaining portfolio-level reporting, KPIs, and forecasting models
• Experience driving large internal programs end-to-end including change management and employee adoption
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and cloud-based B2B implementations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong executive presence
• Highly organized, collaborative, and proactive, with a customer-first mentality

• PMP certification
• Passion for or experience within the energy or energy efficiency sector

Location

Remote within the US with up to 30% travel

Salary and Compensation

The base salary ranges from $165,000-$195,000 DOE. This role may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and equity, subject to company policy.

In accordance with the California Equal Pay and Pay Transparency laws, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
