Director
We’re hiring a Director of Technology Operations to lead the three functions that keep PadSplit’s technology and business operations healthy: Quality Assurance, IT & internal tooling, and Security. You’ll inherit existing teams across each area and be responsible for modernizing how they work: moving QA toward automation, IT toward proactive enablement, and Security toward a structured, risk-based program.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll set strategy and own outcomes across all three areas, while staying close enough to the work to evaluate a test architecture, challenge a vendor renewal, or lead an incident review yourself.
We’re looking for a technology leader who has led multiple technology operations functions and knows how to turn reactive, manual processes into scalable systems. You should be comfortable moving between strategy and execution, developing teams while also getting into the details when the situation calls for it.
You’ll need strong technical judgment, particularly across QA, IT operations, and Security, and the ability to translate technical risks and tradeoffs into clear business decisions. Most importantly, you’re a player-coach who can modernize these functions without losing sight of the people and teams responsible for delivering the work.
Your application will be reviewed for possible next steps by the Hiring Manager. If you meet eligibility requirements, the next step would be a video call with a member of the PeopleOps team for about thirty (30) minutes. If warranted, the next step would be a video interview with our CTO for one (1) hour. If warranted, the next step would be a video interview with our key stakeholders for one (1) hour. If warranted, the final step would be a video panel interview with key stakeholders at PadSplit for two (2) hours. The panel interview will require a candidate to work on a technical assessment where you will showcase your technology expertise to the panel for discussion. If warranted, then we move to offer!

$160,000 - $180,000 a year Compensation is based on the role's scope, national market benchmarks, the person's expertise and experience, and the impact of their contributions to our business goals. Please note: Although the job posting says it's in Atlanta, Georgia, this is a fully remote position. This is a result of our Applicant Tracking System requiring a location to post the role on LinkedIn.
