Digital Marketing Specialist (Social Media & Paid Media)

A remote, execution-focused marketing hire who owns day-to-day social content, supports paid media across Meta and Google, and engages prospects directly to build trust in a fast-growing wellness brand.

Location & Employment Details

  • Position: Full-time
  • Location: Fully remote
  • Working hours: Core overlap with U.S. Eastern business hours
  • Reports to: Company ownership / leadership

About the Company

We are a rapidly growing U.S.-based wellness company operating in the IV hydration and health optimization space. Through a growing footprint of locations, we deliver IV therapy, vitamin injections, weight loss support, peptides, and hormone and wellness services, all designed to help clients feel and perform at their best. We are in an active growth phase and investing in building our marketing capability in-house. Our brand lives heavily on social media, where trust and education drive new clients through the door. This is a client-facing, reputation-driven business, and marketing plays a direct role in how new clients find us and decide to book.

About the Role

Today, our marketing is run through multiple fractional vendors: one agency handling Google Ads and some organic posting, another managing our Meta advertising. That model has kept us moving, but it comes with real limits. No single vendor knows our business deeply, output is inconsistent, and coordinating across outside partners slows us down and adds cost. We are hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist to bring this work in-house. This person will become the dedicated marketing owner who learns our brand, our services, and our clients, then executes consistently day to day. The immediate focus is execution: creating and scheduling content, keeping our social channels active, and supporting our paid media. Over time, as this person earns context on what works, the role can grow into greater ownership of strategy. Because we operate in the wellness and health space, this role also carries a trust-building dimension. We want someone comfortable engaging with prospects directly through social channels, responding to messages, and representing the brand warmly and credibly to people deciding whether to walk through our doors.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Plan, create, and schedule organic content across our social channels (Instagram, Facebook, and others)
  • Design on-brand graphics, short-form video, and promotional assets in Canva
  • Maintain a consistent posting cadence and content calendar across our locations and services
  • Keep brand voice and visual identity consistent across every channel

Paid Media Support

  • Support and help manage paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads
  • Build and launch ad creative, including variations for A/B testing
  • Monitor performance, spend, and retargeting, and flag what is and isn't working
  • Partner with any remaining specialist vendors during the transition to in-house execution

CRM, Funnels & Campaigns

  • Manage campaigns, funnels, and contact data within our CRM platform (GoHighLevel)
  • Build and maintain email and SMS follow-up sequences to nurture leads and existing clients
  • Use our existing client database and funnels to create targeted promotions and retargeting campaigns

Community Engagement & Client Trust

  • Respond to comments and direct messages across social channels in a timely, on-brand way
  • Take the lead on social inbound inquiries, helping convert interested prospects into booked clients
  • Represent the brand credibly in a wellness space where trust drives the decision to book

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Track key metrics across organic and paid efforts and report results in plain terms
  • Bring forward ideas for new content and campaigns based on what is performing
  • Work closely with ownership to align marketing with business priorities

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience, ideally for consumer, service, or multi-location brands
  • Proven ability to create and schedule organic social content across Instagram and Facebook
  • Working knowledge of paid media on Meta Ads and Google Ads, including launching and monitoring campaigns
  • Strong design skills in Canva for graphics and basic video editing
  • Comfortable writing clear, on-brand copy for posts, ads, and direct messages
  • Excellent written English and warm, professional communication for client-facing engagement
  • Self-directed and reliable working remotely with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (campaigns, funnels, CRM automation)
  • Marketing experience in wellness, health, beauty, med-spa, or a similarly regulated or trust-driven industry
  • Familiarity with advertising compliance in health and wellness (what can and cannot be claimed)
  • Experience building email and SMS nurture sequences
  • A track record of turning social engagement into booked appointments or sales
  • Comfort growing into a more strategic marketing role over time

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are: A hands-on executor who takes pride in consistent, high-quality output, not just ideas. Creative and self-starting, able to turn a brief or a product into content that performs. Organized enough to run a content calendar and multiple campaigns without dropping details. Data-aware, comfortable reading ad performance and adjusting rather than guessing. Warm and trustworthy in client-facing conversations, especially in a wellness setting. Eager to learn one business deeply and grow with it, rather than juggling many clients at arm's length.
