Title: Database Engineer Contractor

Duration: Through 4/4/27

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a DataOps Analyst to support a large-scale Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) analytics engagement. This role blends advanced SQL/Redshift development, cloud-native data pipeline engineering, and hands-on use of agentic/GenAI tools, working closely with a globally distributed team.

• Data Ingestion & Pipeline Development — Design and build cloud-native data ingestion pipelines (e.g., AWS Glue, Redshift, S3) to process healthcare transaction and EDI data
• Python & Dynamic Queries — Build parameterized dashboard queries using Python and Jinja templating
• Agentic & AI-Assisted Development — Build and apply agentic/GenAI solutions hands-on for data profiling, code generation, and QA — e.g., Amazon Bedrock, Langflow, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar
• Rapid Dashboarding — Stand up and iterate on dashboards (using Superset) quickly in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment
• Global Team Collaboration — Coordinate daily with India-based colleagues and other distributed team members

Requirements:

• Advanced SQL Development — Design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Redshift SQL for RCM analytics, including advanced query patterns (window functions, CTEs, query tuning), performance optimization at scale, and complex data transformation logic
• 2+ years advanced SQL/Redshift experience — query optimization, performance tuning, complex transformations
• Python with Jinja (or similar) templating
• AWS cloud experience (Glue, S3, Redshift) for ETL/ingestion pipelines
• Hands-on agentic/GenAI experience (e.g., Bedrock, Langflow, Claude, GitHub Copilot)
• Strong communicator, comfortable in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and across a globally distributed team
