Database administrator - advanced

Education A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related area and experience in computer system development and modification. Relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.

Required Skills

• 3+ years’ experience as a Senior SQL Server DBA
• 1+ year of migrating application database between versions and platforms
• 5+ years Backup/Restore experience
• SQL Server Integration Services experience
• Experience managing roles, permissions, and encryption
• T-SQL proficiency

Preferred Skills

• Implementing Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)
• Database Design and Normalization
• PowerShell

Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen’s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.
