Opportunity

We are seeking a technically proficient and business-minded CRM Administrator to support the administration, configuration, optimization, and operational integrity of our HubSpot CRM environment.

This is a technical-first position requiring strong foundational knowledge of CRM systems, data architecture, application administration, workflow automation, and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate is comfortable investigating complex technical issues, understanding system behavior, identifying root causes, and designing reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Equally important is the ability to understand the business processes and objectives that our CRM platform supports. The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of marketing and sales concepts, including customer journeys, lead management, funnel progression, segmentation, attribution, and conversion processes.

This individual will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Technology, and other business stakeholders to understand business needs, translate requirements into technical specifications, and implement solutions that improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, maintain, and optimize the HubSpot CRM environment across applicable hubs and business functions.
  • Manage CRM users, teams, permissions, roles, and access controls in accordance with organizational requirements and security best practices.
  • Maintain and improve CRM data structures to ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment with business processes.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and other stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, challenges, and CRM requirements.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications, CRM configurations, workflows, integrations, and automation solutions.
  • Apply an understanding of marketing funnels, lead lifecycles, customer journeys, segmentation, attribution, and conversion processes to technical solution design.
  • Evaluate proposed business processes and requirements to identify technical dependencies, risks, data implications, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Understand and manage relationships between standard and custom CRM objects.
  • Develop and maintain data validation, normalization, standardization, and quality-control processes.
  • Support data imports, exports, migrations, and bulk updates, including appropriate testing, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics and other technology teams to ensure CRM data is structured and accessible for reporting, analysis, and downstream systems.
  • Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot HubSpot workflows and business process automations.
  • Support automation requirements across Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and other operational functions.
  • Implement and maintain lead management, lifecycle progression, segmentation, lead scoring, routing, and nurturing automation.
  • Evaluate workflow triggers, enrollment criteria, branching logic, dependencies, and potential conflicts.
  • Investigate automation failures and unexpected behavior to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.
  • Support the administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of integrations between HubSpot and other enterprise platforms.
  • Apply foundational understanding of APIs, authentication, webhooks, data mapping, and synchronization concepts.
  • Investigate integration failures, synchronization discrepancies, and unexpected data behavior.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for complex HubSpot issues involving configuration, data, workflows, permissions, and integrations.
  • Independently investigate escalated issues to identify root causes and deliver definitive, sustainable solutions rather than temporary workarounds.
  • Apply structured troubleshooting and analytical methodologies to isolate issues and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Provide technical guidance to users and business stakeholders regarding CRM functionality, configuration, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain CRM operational reports and dashboards related to data quality, platform utilization, workflow performance, and business processes.
  • Support business reporting requirements through appropriate data structures, configuration, and CRM functionality.
  • Stay current with HubSpot platform updates, capabilities, technical enhancements, and CRM administration best practices.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience administering, configuring, and supporting HubSpot CRM or a comparable enterprise CRM platform, with substantial HubSpot experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in CRM administration beyond marketing campaign execution.
  • Strong understanding of CRM architecture, objects, properties, associations, data relationships, and data integrity.
  • Foundational understanding of APIs, integrations, authentication, data synchronization, and associated troubleshooting concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Experience performing data imports, exports, bulk updates, deduplication, and data quality improvements.
  • Solid understanding of marketing and sales concepts, including lead generation, qualification, funnel progression, customer journeys, lifecycle stages, segmentation, attribution, and conversion processes.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical configurations, workflow automation, integrations, or other system solutions.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

  • HubSpot Administrator certification or other relevant HubSpot technical certifications.
  • Experience administering HubSpot Enterprise environments, including custom objects, advanced workflows, complex data structures, and multi-team configurations.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, OAuth, and common enterprise integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, data modeling, or equivalent technical data concepts.
  • Experience with integration platforms, middleware, or enterprise application ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript or Python.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is a plus.

If you are a technically capable CRM professional who enjoys solving complex problems, understanding business challenges, and building systems that improve how organizations operate, we encourage you to apply.
