Copywriter (Conversion-Focused Marketing) – Remote

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Copywriter to create persuasive, conversion-focused marketing content that drives leads, engagement, and revenue. This is a performance-driven role for someone who understands how words influence customer behavior. You’ll develop high-converting copy across landing pages, email campaigns, paid advertising, and sales funnels while collaborating closely with marketing and design teams to optimize campaign performance.

You’ll support clients across a variety of industries, including healthcare, restaurants, fitness, e-commerce, professional services, SaaS, and B2B businesses. If you’re passionate about direct-response copywriting, customer psychology, and writing content that delivers measurable business results, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Landing Pages & Sales Funnels

• Write and optimize high-converting landing pages, sales pages, and lead generation funnels.
• Develop messaging tailored to each stage of the customer journey (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU).
• Improve headlines, offers, calls-to-action (CTAs), and conversion flow.
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to ensure messaging aligns with visual design and campaign goals.

Email Marketing & Lifecycle Campaigns

• Write cold outreach emails, nurture sequences, newsletters, promotional campaigns, and re-engagement emails.
• Develop lifecycle messaging that supports lead generation, customer retention, and conversion.
• Create segmentation-based email campaigns for different audience groups.
• Continuously optimize subject lines, hooks, messaging, and CTAs based on campaign performance.

Paid Advertising & Campaign Support

• Write compelling ad copy for Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and other paid advertising platforms.
• Develop high-performing hooks, headlines, and messaging frameworks.
• Support ongoing campaign testing by refining copy based on performance metrics and A/B testing results.

Content Strategy & Optimization

• Conduct audience research and competitor analysis to strengthen messaging.
• Create SEO-aware landing page and website copy that aligns with search intent.
• Analyze campaign performance and improve messaging using engagement and conversion data.
• Support A/B testing initiatives for headlines, offers, CTAs, and page messaging.

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of experience in copywriting, conversion-focused marketing, or digital marketing.
• Strong portfolio showcasing:
• Landing pages
• Sales pages
• Email campaigns
• Funnel copy
• Conversion-focused marketing content
• Experience writing for B2B and/or B2C audiences.
• Strong understanding of direct-response copywriting principles.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to adapt tone, messaging, and brand voice across industries.
• Familiarity with conversion metrics, campaign optimization, and performance-driven marketing.

Nice to Have

• Experience with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or GoHighLevel.
• Experience supporting paid advertising campaigns.
• Strong understanding of TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU funnel strategies.
• Knowledge of SEO and search intent optimization.
• Experience with A/B testing and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted copywriting tools and workflows.
