Senseye global Sales and business development team (part of AI-driven Manufacturing – Availability and Maintenance) is seeking a passionate, self-driven, analytically minded Portfolio Sales specialist to support and meticulously drive growth strategy in Americas. This is not a direct sales role, but rather a critical support function designed to accelerate deal velocity and improve sales effectiveness across the Zone Americas.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager / Global Portfolio Sales Specialist. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the continental, United States.
You’ll make an impact by:
- OPPORTUNITY QUALIFICATION & PIPELINE DEVELOPMENT
- Support and conduct thorough qualification of sales opportunities using established frameworks (BANT, MEDDIC, or similar)
- Validate opportunity fit against Senseye's ideal customer profile (ICP) with account managers
- Educate, support, develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with the Sales acceleration team / account managers and Zone business volume targets
- Assess deal complexity, timeline, and required resources to optimize sales team allocation
- Prepare clear qualification summaries for account manager handoff/support
- SALES ENABLEMENT & SUPPORT
- Develop and maintain account/prospect research summaries (company overview, pain points, decision-making structure)
- Support sales presentations by gathering technical requirements (with solution engineering support), creating product fit analyses, and preparing ROI/business case materials
- Coordinate with Solutions Engineering to ensure technical resources are aligned with deal requirements for account scoping
- Assist in proposal development, pricing strategy, and deal structuring to support SAC and account managers
- Prepare post-meeting follow-up materials, next-step documentation, and deal progression tracking
- DEAL PROGRESSION & CRM MANAGEMENT
- Support and monitor accurate, up-to-date records in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) for all opportunities and accounts
- Track deal progression against defined sales stages and ensure timely escalation of at-risk deals
- Update weekly/monthly pipeline reports and forecasting summaries for Zone leadership
- Identify bottlenecks in the sales process and recommend process improvements
- Ensure all required documentation and approvals are in place before deal closure
- STAKEHOLDER COORDINATION
- Liaise between SAC team, account managers and service delivery teams to align on deal strategy
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, demos, and technical discussions
- Manage communication timelines and ensure all stakeholders are informed of deal progression
- Support proposal reviews and ensure alignment across teams before client submission
- Facilitate escalation paths when deals require executive engagement or complex problem-solving
- CUSTOMER RESEARCH & INSIGHTS
- Conduct discovery calls with prospects to understand business challenges, technical environment, and buying process
- Document customer pain points, success criteria, and decision-making timelines
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and flag to SAC/account managers
- Gather customer feedback and case study materials to support marketing and sales efforts
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in business development, sales operations, sales development, or similar support function ideally in predictive maintenance
- Proven ability to qualify opportunities and assess fit using established sales methodologies
- Strong analytical and research skills; comfort working with data and CRM systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
- Self-motivated and organized; ability to manage multiple opportunities and stakeholders simultaneously
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of B2B SaaS sales cycles and enterprise software buying processes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support others' success
- 20-30% travel for account site visits, SAC collaboration, quarterly Zone meetings
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in industrial software, predictive maintenance, IoT, or asset intelligence solutions
- Familiarity with manufacturing, operations, or industrial verticals
- Experience supporting sales acceleration or sales operations teams
- Knowledge of Siemens products, solutions, or corporate culture
- Experience with sales methodologies (MEDDIC, BANT, Sandler, Challenger Sale)

The pay range for this position is $91,463 - $156,794 annually with a target incentive of TBD of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
