Business Development Manager – Commercial Technology Services

Location: Remote / Southeast

Preferred Compensation: Performance-Based + Commission + Growth Opportunities

Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Compensation Structure: Monthly draw plus commission

Guaranteed Compensation: A modest monthly draw will be provided to qualified candidates, with additional performance-based commission tied to business development results and new client acquisition.

We provide solutions including structured cabling, network infrastructure, security systems, access control, surveillance, AV, telecommunications, wireless deployments, and field service coordination.

What You'll Do:

• Develop relationships with commercial clients and decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities within facilities management, property management, hospitality, healthcare, retail, MSP, telecom, and multi-site organizations.
• Generate qualified meetings and business opportunities.
• Build strategic partnerships with integrators, service providers, and commercial operators.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities.
• Collaborate with company leadership on growth initiatives.
• Represent Lighthouse professionally in meetings, calls, networking events, and industry functions.

Ideal Background:

• Experience in one or more of the following: Facilities Management, Property Management, Commercial Technology Services, Telecommunications, Managed IT Services (MSP), Security Integration, Structured Cabling, Commercial AV, Multi-site Operations, Business Development, B2B Sales.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Existing network of commercial contacts.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-starter mentality.
• Experience working with commercial or enterprise clients.
• Ability to identify opportunities and move relationships forward.

Compensation:

We are open to discussing a compensation structure that rewards performance, including: Commission-based compensation, Retainer plus commission, Contract or fractional business development arrangements, Long-term growth opportunities for the right candidate.
