Business analyst

The Business Analyst at PRO QC International will play a key role in improving our organization's functions, products, services, and software through data analysis. This role involves understanding business needs, assessing the impact of changes, capturing, analyzing and documenting requirements, and then ensuring that those requirements are delivered by IT and business teams. This position is often a bridge between an organization's leadership and IT departments. They will need to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. The incumbent must stay abreath of current best practices, trends and technology affecting business intelligence, and adapt to integrating such innovations into company processes.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and addressing operational, financial and technological risks within the business.
• Developing analytical solutions to address business challenges.
• Conducting analysis of functional requirements to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Contributing to the successful implementation of projects by providing input on requirements, tools, and methods.
• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Advanced technical skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
