Job Description

Job Title: Business Analyst – Expert

Location: Remote – North Carolina

Duration: 7 Months

Employment Type: Contract

Interview: Webcam Interview Only

Pay Rate: $45-50/hr on C2C

Visa Status: GC, USC, OPT, H4 EAD

Update: Please find someone who also has experience with transportation and crash systems.

Local Candidates Only: Candidates must currently live in North Carolina. Candidates residing outside North Carolina will not be considered.

The selected candidate must also be able to report onsite on the first day to collect required equipment. The position will be remote after the initial equipment pickup.

Experience & Certification Required

5+ years of experience leading facilitation for procurement specification development.

Required Certification: IIBA CBAP or PMP-PBA.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Expert to support multiple active and upcoming technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis, requirements management, testing, stakeholder facilitation, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage business analysis activities and projects with defined deliverables.
  • Identify, document, and analyze business processes, issues, capabilities, metrics, and value opportunities.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze business and project data.
  • Analyze and document current-state (as-is) business capabilities and processes.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate sessions to gather and document business requirements.
  • Manage business and functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead test planning, test strategy development, coordination, and test execution activities.
  • Facilitate procurement-related requirements and specification development.
  • Conduct industry, competitive, and State-level analysis, including strategic, financial, and operational assessments.
  • Support business case development and market research for benchmarking.
  • Support system go-live activities, including conversion, training, support desk coordination, site support, and logistics.
  • Assist with change management and communications activities.
  • Perform PMO-related activities, including project time tracking, work plan updates, status reporting, service metric reporting, and project administration.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to monitor deliverables and ensure project requirements are met.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • 5+ years of Requirements Management experience
  • 5+ years of Test Planning and Test Execution Management experience
  • Strong requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical, and documentation abilities.
