Job Description

The client is looking for a dedicated Applications Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement software applications that meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, an eye for detail, and a passion for creating user-friendly applications. This position will entail frequent communication and interactions with the management team, and provides opportunities for a driven individual to take on increasing responsibilities to help shape the product roadmap and meet company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, applications, and protocols.
• Provide technical support for application deployment and use.
• Be a hands-on contributor during the entire development cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven software development experience and skills in C++, Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with Android and/or iOS development.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
• Understanding of UI design principles and a user-oriented focus.
• Strong knowledge of application development lifecycle.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to take on challenging tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in building high-performance, large-scale, and user-friendly software applications and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of modern DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
