What You'll Be Doing

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Client Support Executive on a permanent basis within our Corpay Cross Borders division. This position falls under our Payments line of business and is based from either our Barcelona or Madrid office. In this role you will focus on client support to help our dealing team and customers to grow. You will collaborate with different departments to ensure the smooth running of the business, allocating payments, reconciliation of funds, creating manual reports with daily expiry information, reaching clients occasionally. Working closely with dealers to provide pre and post-sales support. This will involve in assisting with payments and different requirements as statements, payment investigations, offsets etc. This is a pivotal role that requires you to be accurate, analytical, collaborative, professional, resilient and tenacious. You will report into the Head of Client Support and regularly collaborate with other teams across the division.

Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with various internal teams, such as sales, operations, and compliance, to ensure a smooth client experience for the settling of trades and problem resolution.
  • Educating Corpay clients on processes where appropriate, to reduce future dependency and contact.
  • Supporting efficient cash flow through the timely collection of outstanding receivables (Trades, deposits and Losses).
  • Monitoring, chase, and report on outstanding trades requiring wire instructions.
  • Complying with regulatory requirements including GDPR and CASS obligations.
  • Self-handling of small complaints with Dealers and escalate any larger complaints to the complaints department and Head of Client Support.
  • Escalating non-settlement suspicions to Head of Client Support.
  • Promoting the online platform to clients to enhance security and help them to become self-sufficient.
  • Acting as a central point for the resolution of Compliance queries, internal and banking.
  • Monitoring and act as a central point for the resolution of Payment investigations though salesforce.
  • Compiling Error reporting from Client Support perspective.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records in our CRM system, documenting all interactions and transactions.
  • Working closely with Dealers and being first hand support to them and their clients.
  • Helping to develop and maintain client relationships through excellent service.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Degree in business administration, accounting, finance or economics.
  • Background in an operations role, working knowledge of foreign exchange markets and their conventions is beneficial.
  • Have experience in a client support role.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both Spanish and English. Other languages skills will be valued, especially Portuguese.
  • Good self-organization / multitasking as you will be working in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly including complex technical terms and concepts used on a daily basis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate including good knowledge of Excel.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is €30,000 - €40,000 gross per year. The final offer will be determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including relevant skills, professional experience, and qualifications. Corpay maintains structured compensation practices and regularly reviews pay to support compliance with equal pay principles and applicable EU legislation. Additional compensation elements, including benefits and variable pay, will be discussed during the recruitment process.
