Are you ready to open a world of opportunity in talent mobility? Our clients include some of the largest and most recognized brands in the world. They’re innovators and leaders in their industries, making life-enhancing breakthroughs every day. We help them tap into those opportunities by placing their exceptional people where they need to be, anywhere in the world. When it comes to service, we set the bar for exceptional … and then we raise it with fresh ideas, leading tools and innovative approaches, and it’s all grounded in our values of truth, love, and integrity. We call it People-first Mobility. We’re looking for exceptional people who share those values along with our passion for delivering the highest levels of service. If that sounds like you, and if you’re ready for a new career opportunity, we’d like to hear from you! Here’s to the world ahead.

The Vice President of Business Development, Data Center & Rapid Deployment is responsible for driving new sales acquisition, market expansion and strategic client development across the data centre, mission-critical infrastructure and rapid-deployment sectors. The role owns the full business-development lifecycle, from identifying target accounts and market-entry points through executive relationship development, pursuit strategy, proposals, commercial negotiation and closing new business.

This highly external-facing role will build a qualified pipeline with organisations requiring rapid-deployment support, including hyperscalers, data centre operators, developers, general contractors, engineering, procurement and construction firms, technology infrastructure companies, energy partners and workforce-infrastructure buyers. The successful candidate will combine market insight, consultative selling and commercial discipline with effective cross-functional leadership.

We are committed to fair and transparent compensation. The salary range for this role is based on several factors including experience, skills, and qualifications and is $180,000 to $225,000.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop the growth strategy: Build and execute a sector-specific business-development strategy for data centre, mission-critical infrastructure, rapid deployment, workforce infrastructure and remote-site operations.
  • Acquire new clients: Identify target accounts, buyer groups, decision-makers, project triggers and market-entry points; lead prospecting, discovery, relationship development and executive engagement.
  • Build and manage the pipeline: Maintain a qualified pipeline with clear opportunity stages, revenue potential, probability, timing, next steps and close plans; provide disciplined forecasts and executive updates.
  • Shape client value propositions: Connect rapid deployment, workforce housing, vendor networks, logistics coordination, site services and operational support to client construction, commissioning, expansion or emergency-response needs.
  • Lead complex pursuits: Direct RFP, RFI, proposal and presentation strategy in partnership with Operations, Supplier and Procurement, Pricing, Finance, Legal and Project Management.
  • Negotiate and close: Coordinate pricing assumptions, operating models, scope and feasibility; negotiate business terms, master service agreements and commercial structures in line with internal approvals.
  • Build market presence and partnerships: Develop referral channels and strategic relationships with real estate, construction, engineering, workforce planning, staffing, facilities, utility, equipment and local-market partners; represent Graebel at relevant industry events.
  • Enable effective transition and market learning: Partner with project and operational leaders to scope and hand over awarded work, and provide leadership with insight on customer needs, market signals, competition, pricing, expansion and potential partnership opportunities.
