Job Description

Position overview

WarriorBabe is seeking an AI Automation Specialist who can independently identify, build, and own AI agents and automations that make our teams more effective. You will work directly with department leaders to understand their processes, find opportunities, and turn business needs into practical, reliable solutions.

You will build with n8n, Claude, OpenAI, Python, and JavaScript; support other team builds; and take responsibility for the systems you create. Early work will include knowledge-base and business-system agents, along with automation workflows across departments.

Success means delivering useful systems that people adopt, maintaining them reliably, and demonstrating how they improve the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Find and own opportunities
  • Partner directly with department leaders to understand business processes, pain points, and desired outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and propose automation and AI opportunities, simplify complex processes, and explain options and tradeoffs in clear language.
  • Define a practical scope, success measures, and delivery plan; coordinate priorities with the technology lead.
  • Estimate time saved where practical, track adoption, and check whether the solution solved the underlying problem.
  • Build AI agents and automations
  • Design, build, test, and improve AI agents and workflows.
  • Build knowledge-base and business-system agents and integrate them with relevant tools and data sources.
  • Develop API integrations, webhooks, and custom code where needed; handle authentication, data formats, rate limits, and errors.
  • Validate agent outputs and workflow results against clear expectations, and improve solutions using feedback and evidence.
  • Support the technology team on other builds and share useful patterns and knowledge.
  • Own production reliability
  • Monitor and troubleshoot the systems you build, investigate failures and data mismatches, and respond to urgent issues.
  • Design for retries, duplicate prevention, logging, alerts, and recovery; verify outcomes in connected systems.
  • Test and manage releases, document changes, and maintain clear documentation of purpose, architecture, configuration, and support.
  • Protect credentials and sensitive information, and communicate incidents, progress, risks, and decisions clearly.

Required qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to independently design, build, and own complex production automations and AI-powered systems. Be prepared to explain your personal contribution, technical decisions, testing, and how you handled failures.
  • Hands-on experience building and troubleshooting production workflows.
  • Practical experience with Claude, OpenAI, GLM, or other models for building AI solutions and evaluating their outputs.
  • Working proficiency in Python and JavaScript for integrations, scripts, and workflow logic.
  • Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, JSON, rate limits, and reliable error handling.
  • Technical depth and judgment to investigate problems, simplify processes, and deliver maintainable solutions at a practical pace.
  • Initiative and clear communication: comfortable working directly with business leaders, documenting work, sharing progress, and asking useful questions.
  • Ability to manage work independently in a remote environment with working-hours overlap with Eastern Time.

Preferred experience

  • HubSpot workflows and CRM data; Supabase; and n8n experience.
  • Experience integrating multiple business systems, including CRMs, databases, communication tools, and third-party applications.
  • Experience with other automation platforms, such as Zapier, Make, or HubSpot workflows.
  • Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools.

What success looks like

  • Business teams have useful agents and automations that address understood needs and are adopted in their work.
  • The specialist identifies opportunities, proposes practical solutions, and independently delivers agreed priorities.
  • Production systems are monitored, documented, and maintained, with issues communicated and resolved.
  • Improvements are assessed using measures such as time saved, adoption, quality, and business outcomes.
  • Department leaders and the technology team understand progress, decisions, and next steps.

Why join us

  • Fully remote, full-time work with Eastern Time overlap.
  • Hands-on ownership of AI agents and automation across business teams.
  • Direct collaboration with department leaders and the opportunity to improve how the business works.
  • A team that values initiative, clear communication, technical depth, and practical solutions.
