What you will enjoy doing

As a manager, you lead and manage the product management team, including coaching, development, and performance management of Product Managers. Develop and execute product portfolio strategies aligned with business objectives including product lifecycle management. You drive market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities and are accountable for portfolio revenue, profitability, market share, and growth targets. Lead pricing strategy development and ensure alignment with market dynamics and profitability objectives. Identify emerging technologies and industry developments that may impact the business, support, develop and advise on customer welding procedures and processes in line with the Marketing strategy. Part of your duties will include management of special consumables portfolio inline with best commercial practices.

What makes you great

You possess an engineering qualification in metallurgical field or similar with an International Welding Engineer qualification or BCom in business or marketing management field would be advantageous. You have at least 5 - 7 years relevant experience in the welding industry, as well as a thorough knowledge of Afrox would be advantageous. Demonstrated success in developing and executing product portfolio strategies. You have experience managing supplier, distributor, and customer relationships, within the industrial, welding, manufacturing, engineering, hard goods, consumables, or related B2B sectors. You have experience working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance.
