Vacancy: Front Office & Lodge All-Rounder (Luxury Historical Lodge)

Location: Near Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal

A are a premier, world-renowned lodge specialising in tours of the historic Anglo-Zulu War battlefields. The operation thrives on highly personalized service and meaningful staff-guest interaction, particularly within our communal dining environment.

The Role:

We are seeking a young, ambitious, and highly presentable individual to manage our reception desk and support the General Manager. As a key representative of our lodge, you will maintain guest relations and relieve across various operational departments when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front Desk: Lead guest relations, check-ins, and daily reception duties.
• Reservations: Manage bookings (knowledge of SEMPER system is a distinct advantage).
• Operations: Oversee stock control and supervise housekeeping standards.
• Management Support: Assist with staff supervision and general daily operations.
• F&B Support: Provide hands-on assistance with kitchen management and guest dining interaction.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven general lodge experience across the operational areas listed above.
• Language: 100% fluency in spoken and written English with excellent communication skills.
• Licence: Valid driver’s licence is essential (own transport is highly recommended due to the remote location).
• Attributes: A team player possessing strong organisational skills and a good sense of humour.
