Finance & treasury specialist

Are you an experienced finance professional with strong treasury, banking and cross-border transaction experience? Our client is a well-established and growing organisation with a complex and dynamic operational environment. With a strong focus on commercial growth and international business, the organisation manages a variety of financial transactions and requires a highly skilled finance professional to support its treasury and financial operations. They are looking for an experienced Finance & Treasury Specialist to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work across treasury, foreign exchange, trade finance, cash management and cross-border transactions. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial risk, maintaining strong banking relationships and ensuring the smooth execution of complex financial transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and strategic individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of specialised financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review commercial contracts and payment terms
• Support trade finance and financial structuring
• Manage foreign exchange exposure and hedging
• Oversee exchange control requirements and applications
• Manage complex cross-border invoicing
• Oversee international trade transactions

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom Finance degree or a relevant financial qualification
• 10+ years of experience within Corporate Treasury, Trade Finance or Corporate Banking
• Strong experience in foreign exchange and South African exchange control
